How We Work

How we work, and what it costs

No sales call required to find out if we're in your budget. See how each engagement model differs, and what happens after you reach out.

Project-based engagements

Discovery, fixed scope, or time & materials

Discovery

Before scope is locked

  • 1–2 weeks with a senior architect and product lead
  • Stakeholder interviews, technical architecture, and a story-pointed backlog
  • Ends with a fixed-scope or T&M proposal, not just a rough guess

Fixed Scope

Defined deliverables, defined price

  • Best when requirements are well-specified and unlikely to shift
  • One agreed price and timeline — OZRIT carries the estimating risk
  • Typical for a single product, module, or MVP build

Time & Materials (T&M)

Defined rate, flexible scope

  • Billed monthly against actual hours at agreed role-based rates
  • Best when requirements will evolve as you learn from users
  • You can redirect priorities at any sprint boundary
Ongoing engagements

Dedicated engineering teams vs. staff augmentation

Dedicated Engineering Team

An OZRIT-managed pod, with its own delivery lead, that works exclusively on your roadmap. You set priorities; we manage day-to-day execution, code quality, and delivery.

Typical starting composition

2–4 engineers, 1 QA engineer, 1 project lead — scaled to your roadmap

Minimum commitment

3 months, renewable monthly after that

Kickoff timeline

Team assembled and onboarded within 10–15 business days of signing

Staff Augmentation

Individual engineers embedded directly into your existing team, tools, and workflow. You manage day-to-day priorities the same way you would an in-house hire — we handle recruitment, employment, and backfill.

How it differs from a dedicated team

No separate OZRIT delivery lead — your PM directs the work. You get individual specialists, not a self-contained pod.

Best for

Filling a specific skills gap inside a team and process you already run

Typical timelines

How long each model actually takes

Discovery sprint

1–2 weeks

Fixed-scope project (MVP / module)

8–16 weeks, scope-dependent

Time & Materials

Ongoing — no fixed end date

Dedicated team ramp-up

10–15 business days from signed agreement

Pricing bands

What this actually costs

Indicative starting bands based on role and seniority. Your final quote depends on scope, stack, and engagement model — but you shouldn't have to book a call just to find out if we're in range.

$25 – $35 / hour

QA engineer

$20 – $30 / hour

Billed monthly at the hourly rates above, for whichever roles are on your team

After you reach out

What happens in the first 48 hours

1

Within 24 hours

A solutions consultant reviews what you submitted and replies — either with clarifying questions or a link to book a call directly.

2

Within 48 hours

A 30–45 minute discovery call is scheduled to understand scope, constraints, timeline, and which engagement model fits.

3

After the call

You get a short written summary of what was discussed and the next step — a proposal, a fixed-scope estimate, or a discovery sprint outline.

Know which model fits? Let's talk.

Tell us what you're building and we'll recommend an engagement model, not just a quote.
