Urban commuters needed affordable, convenient, and eco-friendly transportation alternatives. Traditional options were expensive, inefficient, and contributed to high carbon emissions.

Every commuter priced out of expensive fuel-based transport, or unable to find an available EV nearby, defaulted back to costlier, higher-emission options — for Ridev, slow fleet visibility and clunky booking directly meant lost daily rides and slower EV adoption in the cities it served.
